Client Brief

  1. Extensive renovation of an historic building purchased online by the client, “site unseen” ( pun fully intended )

  2. To design and manage every aspect of the renovation for the interstate client. 

  3. To ensure the property could be used as an Airbnb for short term stays and by the client personally when staying in Adelaide

  4. To create a sun-filled interior which felt spacious.despite a very tight floor plan which would not be extended.

Outcome

  1. A successful reimagining of the space to create; a light filled living room, three generous bedrooms, a full functional kitchen, and laundry area and a second bathroom and low maintenance garden all within a tiny, two-storey 1870s stable

  2. A satisfied client who had not seen the project in person until after it was complete 

  3. A financially successful development
