Ditters

Captured by Jack Fenby

Client Brief

  1. Our client had taken a lease on a small shop in the historic, Adelaide Arcade in the City.

  2. The shell was empty, with impressively high ceilings and historic elements.

  3. Our client required a shop fit out that would provide

:substantial shelving, display space for Ditters extensive product range, totalling over 150 distinct products with space for storage.

: a point of sale from which the staff could complete sales quickly, keep an eye on customers and stock and also work on a computer.

: reference the historic setting of the shop and the historic nature of the Brand

: would be memorable and a pleasure to visit.

: would have maximum visual impact from the Arcade, which has high foot traffic

: would be relatively inexpensive but give the impression of being exclusive and high-end

Outcome

  1. Our Team incorporated relatively inexpensive tailor made shelving from display line, which included lighting and mirrored backing.

  2. Additionally we designed 2 bespoke shelving units in a gold finish, for the centre of the shop and a very large arched version for the rear wall of the shop. Both units incorporating lighting and mirrored back panels.

  3. Our Team commissioned a local Artist, Marisha Matthews, to paint a large original portrait of the Ditters founder in a contemporary yet classic style, to promote conversation around the history of the Brand.

  4. With our Client’s input, a very successful commercial space was created within budget. The space is constantly visited and admired by the public and trade is exceeding our Client’s hopes.
